Looking to get a set of seat covers, but I was wondering how well the factory seat heaters worked with the covers on? Do they still heat up as fast and/or as hot?

 

A little slower, but still get hot

 

This is my second set of Clazzios and I love them. This will be a mandatory mod on any non-leather vehicle I purchase in the future.

My first set was a generic black set for a 2014 Toyota Tundra. My only complaint was the fitment around the front center armrest. (I had the 6 seat, full front bench.)

Went with a "custom" set this time. Black leather with dark gray inserts and red stitching. Love the color combo. The dark gray matches the Cement color pretty well. Fit was great. Took about an hour to install. Shipping took about half the time I was originally quoted. I think I was told 6-8 weeks for custom orders and I got the seat covers within 2-3 weeks.

May I ask what color is the interior of your truck? And what color combo did you choose? What type if insert (perforated)?

Is the PVC ones good quality or better to just get the leather ones?

 

My stock interior is "graphite".

I went with the "perforated leather", black body, dark gray inserts, red stitching.

An earlier poster indicated his PVC seat covers have an odor. However, I have no first-hand knowledge regarding the PVC seat covers. My seat covers have the leather insert. No odor and look great.

 

I received my Clazzio seat covers two days ago and had no wired smells. I have laid out in the spare bedroom now. Will install later this week.

 

I have the PVC ones. They have held up great my only concern is there is still an odor in my truck from them.

 

Is the single stitch colored black ?

 

Yes and double stitch is red.

 

Got mine delivered exactly 8 weeks from the day I ordered. Installed in about an hour and half and I must say that I am very happy with the results they look amazing and after they sit in the sun for a bit they should look even better. I could have probably got them a little tighter so in a few days I’ll got back and try after I break them in a bit

 

Hard to fly through 172 pages of this thread... Interested in a set and also interested in getting heated seats with the order. Any on here order heated seats from them too? Which package if so, and most importantly, how did you route the wiring up to the empty dash spots? I see Clazzio responds a bit here... any advice on heated seats with your covers for a 2017 Tacoma DCLB Sport?

 

Bump for the heated seats info. I will be getting a set for my Tacoma & a set for my wife's Rav4 also. She already has heated seats. Wondering what people are thinking of the heated pads & comfort aspect.

From the picture on Clazzio's website it looks like the switches are the shorter wide type. Meso makes a switch panel that replaces that little cubby hole on the left of the steering wheel. That's kinda been my plan. Also put in 2 switches for the anytime camera mod & I would be set!

Whats the trick to remove the plastic headrest pieces? Or do you just have to muscle the covers over?
