If the skids are stock they won't hold up to much but they are better than nothing. If I were you I'd start with a nice set of sliders and get some wheel time off road. You'd be surprised what these can do stock.

On a side note, find someone to wheel with. I'm sure there is a group around your area.

Great idea, I’ll do just that. The stock running boards are just asking to get caught.

4xinnovations are the cheapest weld on ones. Dude there is so much info in this site it's insane. Get to reading, explore some builds, you will learn so damn much lol

Start doing reaserch on here. And how about some pictures?...

As for sliders, there are a buch of options to include build your own. @cynicalrider is right, 4xinnovations makes a good option for a cheap price. If you don't want to weld them on Trail Gear is an option too: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AOTJWU...olid=3UK1D2AISL1X0&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

But seriously show us your truck.

Pictures including old air filter that probably had 50,000+ miles on it. Replaced today

Head over to your local thread on here (under forums go to Regional threads) and find some wheeling buddies and use your truck. Those steps can be used as sliders until you get either 4x Innovations or Trail Gear. Then get skids and better tires to see if you really want to use the truck that way

No no no they can't. If he crunches the tube bar, it's likely to get pushed into the body and damage the body. I would rather wheel with them off then do that.

Oh I never knew that, I just figured the bottoms would get crunched up before anything else. I'd just take them off then and sell em

Not real sure, I'd start with $150-200 range and go down from there. Somebody on your local craigslist should buy them eventually

It was a even worse and there looked like there was a stem from maybe a leaf caught in it and cherry seeds or something. Air compressor blew out a lot of dirt and particles until new one arrived. Hope I got some HP gains from the new one and it’ll be at 190 now
