last update: ROAD FORCE BALANCE IS THE KEY!!!!!! not 100% but pretty close. Happy camper even after spending $200 just to try to figure it out. Truck looks amazing. Thanks guys!!! Now ready for bilstein 5100s in the front to level it out. I heard 1.75 is the setting for a nice even level.

I put the hub centric rings on before the road force balance and did not feel a big difference. They did nothing for me. They were plastic not sure if aluminum would of been different.

But did they also use the Haweka adapter that Toyota has been recommending since 1996? Also, there is growing evidence that many poor balance jobs are being had on the older road force machines. Around here they are simply the dustiest machines any place you go. Why? Because they require some good training and skill to use properly and most techs don't know how. The good news is Hunter has a new machine called the Elite I believe. It has a large horizontal bar above the machine and, among other things, projects lasers down ward. Can't miss the thing in a shop. Anyway it seems to be more user friendly and requires much less skill. I used it for my most recent balance and got smooth as glass.

So, make sure your wheels are hub centered, find a place with both the new Hunter machine, and use it at the same time with the Haweka adapter.

So, I finally got discount tire to do a proper balance. After thousands of miles with a shaking car, it stopped! I can't tell you how nice it is. You can't rely on them to do it right, you have to tell them what to do.
