Yeah he's got some good ones. There are some he'll probably take to his grave. He was very bitter the last 10 yrs give or take before being "forced" into retirement.

 

My wife runs a spa and the no shows or late clients are the worst, terrible tippers too!

That's hardwired speed too...I'm supposed to have a GIG connection. Tech came today and verified all was good from street to my modem. The tech's supervisor said I'd never get 1000mbps so as long as I get more than 250mbps I'm good and should only expect an average of 400mbps. Tech was cool about it and thought that was bullshit too so he put in a maintenance ticket to have the connections further down the line from me checked. We'll see...

I'm not going to pay 100% of a price to get maybe 40% of the service.

 

Sadly that's how ISPs work. You pay for "speeds up to X" I agree, it is bullshit though

I do...everything I have is rated for gig+.

 

I have not checked on mine in a while, at&t gigabit. Seems faster than i remember last i checked

 

I get the whole "...up to 1000mbps" but when my average mbps is 124 out of 1000, I'm going to make a little noise.

 

What the fuck. Your upload speed is faster than your download speed. Thats crazy. Usually my upload speed is like 10% of my download speeds

 

Tonight I am getting about 90/90 with WCTel fiber. We pay for 120 Mbps, though, and usually get right at that. After baseball and football seasons end I'll drop the TV package and try the Gpbs internet, which comes out to be about the same price as 120 Mbps internet + TV. That should be fun.

 

You have copper internet?

 

Hope you have better luck than I do. My backwoods 100mbps service at the old place was consistent and always reliable. I've had this service for 2 months and have been on w/ support more times than I care to count.

 

Knock on particle board, we have gotten really good service with these folks. In little bitty ole Greenwood at that.

sure? I dont know haha. It's not gigabit though, shits too expensive. I pay 45/month for 100mbps down speeds. It works enough. ive been getting like 125 down and 10 up

 

Asymmetry, and cable and DSL company copper internet. Cable and DSL cos built their infrastructure around downloading loads of data, watching TV, videos, porn, etc, not uploading it.
