Thanks for more tech teaching talk.

So you want it to "push left" or "push off of the left to the right" ?

I would think the desired effect would be to the right for safety reasons. To have the vehicle run off the right hand side of the road instead of the left automatically if there was no steering input for whatever reason.

Dang that sucks, but glad everyone is okay. Did the PD find the Ram 1500 driver at fault? Where there witnesses that stayed behind to collaborate?

Not sure if their insurance will report this on your vehicle, but if they do, argue for payment on diminished resale value. You'll have plenty of support and advice here to chime in because the insurance company will likely immediately resist, but as you know, many of us take into the Tacoma's resale value when we buy.

    Retired/Hobbyist old as f***
Seems like, relying on a 40 year old memory from tech school, that we put more toe out on the left side back then. So if you string the centerlines of the front and rear of the front tires there was a slight difference, being wider in front than the rear of the tires. Whatever we did the left tire was aimed just a hair to the left to stay towards the crown while the right tire tracked straight. I have not touched a Hunter alignment machine since the late 1970's. Seems like the left side wheelbase was a hair shorter than the right side too. I guess I may need to get the cob webs off my old Hunter book and refresh myself. We serviced a lot of State Police Mopars in school and it was weird that we had to adjust riding height on Mopars. I wonder if they still put those torsion bars in cars any more. The biggest thing I do frequently is ball joints, replace tie rods and adjust tie rod ends to align steering wheels. I cannot remember the last time I had an alignment done. Nowadays I just string tires, precision measure tie rod lengths and duplicate that dimension after repairs. Been very lucky that alignments usually are close enough when done.
DISCLAIMER: I am not an expert. Shadetree mechanic would be a fitting description.

I’ve been thinking about buying those. Did you get the rear too? Does it cover the hump?

Thanks! Ya, man. Totally. I definitely would like to go back there and hit up Thunder Mtn. Trail and some other mtb trails. Gonna have to try the hikes at The Narrows and Angels' Landing at Zion, too. If possible, I'd really like to check out Moab after I learn how to go off-roading in the Tacoma. I have some off-roading gear, but I need to learn how to use them properly in real world situations.

I got the rack back on and removed the factory nerf bars. I'm going to try and save my pennies for a few months and switch over to some 4Runner Pro wheels with new tires. I'm so tired of the stock ones.

We have a witness that heard her say she ran the red light plus my dash cam. Will address DIV with my insurance company.
