Gulches ORV Park in Laurens, SC

I haven't put a head count together yet. Need to do that.

I have a Cobra in the truck that hasn't been tested yet. Antenna has been tuned, but radio not tested. Technician license for HAM is still a bit down the road.

The radio I bummed from @Matic picked up the first couple of trucks behind me, but all the mountain sides are pretty good at blocking radio waves.

 

Or try to tune the antenna with the door open.

 

I still have my midland in the garage. @toysrgood your welcome to borrow it.
Eric was just using the battery powered unit. I think it will do much better if you use the powered pack with external antenna.

Maybe I can sneek in between a few of you rigs and Skip/Chip wont notice.

 

Pretty sure your truck would do fine out there except for the more difficult rocky stuff. And as long as we have straps and winches, no worries.

Been wanting to go since forever with Cam when he was a PR, just could never make it happen.

 

I went with my stock ass Prerunner. Got some pretty good pictures of the guys when they went into the park, leaving me behind to ponder my 4x4 future.

 

We could use a leader. My ass would get us on the edge of Shipwreck or something.

 

I got this shit!!! Studied the hell oughta the map but you may end up on some of the harder trails because skinny pedal if you follow me
