Took a road trip last week from Seattle to Glacier NP, to Banff, to Jasper, and back to WA. We had sun, rain, snow, and hail, but a fabulous trip. I was in Galcier and Banff three years ago but couldn’t see anything due to all the smoke from fires in the West. Not many pics of the rig and camp set up but had a great time.

Can you provide the trailer info? I'm curious to see if I could convince my other half that this might be the way to go down the road.

Not sure how I've never seen this thread before! This was in Alabama at Cherokee Rock Village. Great place for some rock climbing and camping.

I've got vlogs for both locations if anyone likes watching adventure vlogs. :bikewhoops:

You definitely should! It looks over Weiss Lake and the sunrises over the lake are gorgeous. We've been going there for over 20 years. It's changed a lot in the last 2 decades. They now have bathrooms / showers, but the camp sites are not set in stone. You can back down into the woods and setup wherever. It's a great place to go for a weekend. It's also some of the best rock climbing in the south east.

Any sites there you could set up in a micro camper? Self sufficient I don’t need power or water

We have some great areas to camp up here in Chattanooga and the surrounding areas. There are some nice primitive sites in Northern GA and up in Cherokee National Forrest area. Come up one weekend and I can show you some great spots!

Absolutely. There are some area's specifically to back trailers down into, but most of them aren't super level. As long as you don't mind using a leveling jack or grabbing a couple rocks to stack you'll have 10+ spots to choose from.

And there is room to pull a trailer or a couple cars back into the woods closer to the cliffs if you don't mind being a little further from the bathrooms.

Might have take you up on that! My wife and I will be stepping up the camping came this year and going much more frequently than we have been. Chattanooga is only about 2 hours away from me.

Come on! The wife and I can show you around once it cools off a little. And we'll do some camping down in your area as well. We love 600-1 and 600-2 as well as Turnip Seed Campground down your way!

We ran 600-1 and 600-2 a few weeks ago with a group of about 10 Tacomas. It was a great time, but it was a little hot to be camping..

It's a fun little ride. I grew up in Birmingham and have been running those trails for years! Once it cools off we'll have to meet up and do some camping for sure.

Absolutely! I was planning to do another run when it cools off. Several people on the last run said they wanted to do it when the camping would be enjoyable, lol.
