go find a grand caravan in the yard (they're absolute shit vehicles so there is definitely one there), steal its jack and use your impact to raise it up. Improvise, adapt, overcome

Pick-n-Pull removes all jacks from all vehicles. I had to sneak a jack in once but I didn’t end up needing it.

I’m too far from home to sneak a jack in though.

I don’t have a way of sneaking a jack in anymore. They inspect all my equipment walking in.

I do. But I can’t sneak it in. They check your bags and cases walking in now. They don’t do that at my home pick-n-pull because I’m friends with the gate people.

No way a loader is getting in there. It’s in the middle of a row.

I’ll pass on this one guys. My home pick-n-pull has a whole row of six Limited 4Runners last time I was around. Someone took all the e-lockers though.

How reliable is the cable operated diff lock mod? Here in Michigan, it makes no sense to replace a bad elock actuator. Its just gonna go bad again.

 

There isn't hardly anything to go wrong, just a couple bushings and an oring or two

 

Trying to thing of something “different” to do with the turn signals. Thinking of doing amber pods or something in this area.

Here, they corrode from the the road salt. No repairing what isn't there. (I don't want to hear about California not having this problem @BartMaster1234 )

If the actuators are made from unobtainium, the only option is to do the cable mod. No?

 

I meant the cable ones are hard to break. The downside is mounting the huge ugly lever they give you, but you could probably make a niver lever. The stock lockers are breakable as hell, the only one selling rebuilds for them is absolute wits end. Aisin sells new locker actuators for ~$300 tho so that's an option too.

 

You're thinking of @m3bassman for normal pods. I run trailer turn signals

 

@Teke, is this what you're thinking of. These were $2 at a truck stop and work well haha.

 

I was just looking at some of the off the shelf versions. All those cables are is outboard boat motor control cables. Seems pretty straightforward to do the mod. Look reliable as hell too.
