    1) now ex DIL went off deep end
    2) kids taken in by DCS
    3) wife deployed from here (AK) to PHX from May thru Sep; kids released to her sole custody while DCS case investigated and prosecuted
    4) divorced; son has primary custody and full legal decision making authority

    Most here know the story and were party to a Private Message/Conversation Thread that helped me keep my sanity while home alone working to pay the bills and cover the spread of lawyer fees etc...

    TACOMAWorld is truly a special place more so than many realize. Unlike so much social media that we see negatively in the news, somehow the one Bob has managed a balance that squashes BS politics and allows folks to socialize and develop a sense of community that supports them without prejudice when they need it most.

    While more spiritual than religious, I pray this community and the fine folks of it be blessed everyday. I have much for which I am thankful, TW is part of it.

    ... dammit, I've said too much again. :oops:

    :fistbump: Very glad to meet you too DeWayne. I'm from Virginia originally, Chesterfield County down by Richmond. Dad's people from up in the holler by Jefferson National Forest, Sugar Grove. Mom's people from VA Bch. Due to myriad of issues from mental health to alcoholism in the family, I pretty much graduated HS and ran away from home and joined the air force in 1983. I have a couple cousins I randomly keep in touch with, but haven't had contact with anyone else in the family since 1998. It's awkward, but it was my survival, and health and welfare of my wife and sons.

    Said too much again ... just chatty cathy tonight. But anyway that will explain why I act so familiar towards Chris and ya'll. Your stories and activities bring back my GOOD memories from Virginia. :cool:

    Just got back home from the local car show and had a fun time !!:thumbsup:

    Just before leaving earlier this Afternoon my phone alerted me with a NWS Weather warning !!! . This was a Areal Flood Warning and a Flash Flood Advisory so I left the Camaro parked in the garage and took the truck

    The skies looked really nasty with ominous looking rain clouds everywhere but at the car show it was clear ....... Go figure !!:notsure:

    My friend calls me a little while ago asking if I wanted to help finish his garage so I said yes , hopefully it's cooler tomorrow !!!

    I'm going to try and get on the man lift tomorrow , hopefully that'll be easier!!
