    Hi folks,

Looking for a shop that can install coilovers, shocks and leafs for a 2018.
    Hopefully at a decent price.

Willing to travel around the Bay to find a good price.

I have spring compressors. I wouldn’t want to do #700 springs with them though. Or you can use the weight of the vehicle and a floor jack to release the tension on the springs.

    Haha thannks!!

I really should learn but the jitters..especially if I am doing it by myself for the first time.
No amount of Youtube videos will get me over that mental barrier lol..

Might take you up on that..... I will keep you in mind. I got friends up there too I can visit and can potentially make a new one!

    Well fortunately enough I don't have 700# springs! :p

Additionally, my 6112s are already on the truck so they are pre-assembled. I just wanted to raise it 1.5-2". I heard about that method of using the weight of the rig but didn't want to attempt myself.

I would be open to driving to Folsom and providing ya with whatever you need minus any sexual favors, obviously.

Diablo offroad and performance in WC has also been a place I heard good things about. Downside is their labor costs an arm and a leg. 150/hr apparently.

Shaffers charges around the same amount, $150/hr. I asked them about welding on sliders and thats what they quoted me for labor rate.

I think any shop here in the Bay will have a high cost for labor. Unless you find someone on here that works at a shop or find a shop more out towards sac or the central valley you'll be paying TOO much.

I get it. The jitters are for real when it's your dd and you've never done it before and you gotta go pick up your kid from school at 3. Nothing like a deadline that makes you work like a crazed determined mofo. Haha.

You'll be surprised at how easy it is. Take advantage of someone offering help to do it. You'll be so proud of it if your hands are the ones that do it.

I can agree with ya on that. I was fortunate enough to have people at a mod day help me out with the install. You get to pick their brain about shit you didn't even know about with the truck. Plus, they often know of the easiest way possible to install stuff! Plus, depending on the person/group, they will actually have you work on the truck with them guiding you through it. Huge help.

Im tellin ya @sd1uh8as you'll find a TON of helpful people on here. They'll talk shit to ya but hey they will still help you lol
