The app is called Picas. The website I ordered the canvas from was called Easy Canvas Prints. Then I just framed it myself.

I think Vizsla's need to be run a lot, if you're not able to do that, you might want to rule them out. From a friend I know it wasn't until about year 4 before his wouldn't destroy things when they left him alone. They're all different though. Very sweet dogs. We really considered one. I don't know much about Wiemerieners. Good luck with what you decide.

I always advocate adoption unless you need a sporting dog for sporting purposes. If you just want a dog friend, there are plenty of adoptable dogs looking for homes.

I got my pup from a local shelter. I have had several throughout my life and even the 3 registered GSD were all adopted.

Adoption is and has been for me the best option.

Boomer, we found him at an adoption event at a local Petsmart when we were not looking for anything but cat food. He is a Labahoula. The first Catahoula mix I have ever known and one of the best dogs I have known.

I swear to God I'm going to be depressed when my dog dies.

Sorry to hear that, man. I'm not a very sympathetic guy unless it comes to animals. They are so innocent

Hey everyone! Love this thread! Lincoln (6 mo, Standard Schnauzer) loves the water, so I'm in need of a life vest for him to use while kayaking. Anyone have suggestions?
Preferred color is blue, but any lead is a good lead.

RuffWear makes good products. A little pricey but they are the most popular brand.

Thank you. Got plans for a couple pictures.

I use them in mid high grass to keep it out of eyes when moving fast, high altitudes to give more UV protection, and anywhere I expect allot of dust. She also likes to hang her tongue out the window when riding with me allot longer with them too. Mine just have grey tinted lenses but I also have a pair of Mutt Muffs for long trips or when around the Local airport. They also come in handy when thunderstorms roll up on us to reduce the anxiety.

Is she a lab springer? We have one of those in our dog play group for our neighborhood. great dog.

Love the days after coming home from the lake. My dog doesn't move for a couple days at least.

What are your plans for the dog? Just companion, hunting, guard dog? How much space do you have, and how often would you be able to get out to huge open areas to let it run?

3 years ago, my wife and I were deciding between the same breeds. She REALLY wanted a weim, I wanted a Vizsla. They are both very similar. Our decision came down to size. We agreed we didn't want another 60+ pound dog. So we went the Vizsla route and we are so grateful for our choice. I searched the country for the smallest Vizsla I could find. I found a breeder that had a 40 lb Dad, and a 38 lb Mom. The runt of the litter was a female. I couldn't get him my money fast enough.

Fast forward to today, we have a perfectly sweet 3 year old Vizsla that is so small that almost everyone that sees her thinks she is a puppy. She is 33 lbs. She loves to run, mountain bike, hike and camp with me. Whenever she's not doing her fun activities, she LOVES snuggling with us on the couch or under our covers in the bed. She is perfectly sweet with my 8 year old daughter (5 when we brought her home).
However, being an only dog, she is afraid of any dog bigger than her. Once she gets to know the other dog, she is good.

My wife and I fostered Weims for a couple years prior to us having our daughter. PM me if you have any specific questions about the breeds; I know them both pretty well.

My sweet Remi (short for Remington):
