In the market for a new OBDII scanner since my Actron CP9135 will not work with my 2005.

I have been reading some about smart phone apps. The BlueDriver looks interesting, but I realize it could all be hype. https://www.bluedriver.com/ Has anyone used this?

Any other recommendatiions for a scanner that gives real time read outs etc?

I bought a cheapy Bluetooth one for a couple dollars and use the torque app. Pretty consistent connections and my 2006 has a surprising abouta of sensors.

I noticed that my coolant temp went down about 4 degrees when I changed the air filter .

I got this one on Amazon. It works great with the Torque pro app.

Torque pro is great, I use it all the time off road to monitor my transmission temps.

It also reads error codes, and can clear them.

You need to get ahold of Toyota tech stream and a dongle.. Easy saerch, installation can be tricky though.

The reviews are not very good for the Torque app in iPhone. I do not see Torque Pro on the Apple store.

Looks like I may just have to try a couple to see. It seems one of the first things I need to do it to get a Bluetooth ODB adapter.

Are any of you using iPhone or are most of you Android users?

I think iPhone users need to use a Wi-Fi version. Maybe partly why the reviews of torque on Apple store are bad.

That would certainly explain the bad reviews...
