Having a good day @ the American Legion convention. Very proud moment watching all the vets and current service persons during the opening ceremony. All in unison when the time came to salute the flag during the star spangled banner, pledge of allegiance, and God bless America. Some of the men could hardly walk but when the time came to stand up they all somehow did! No bullshit in this gathering! While recognizing the passing of members from 2017, it was raw emotion. Quite the witnessing of love of God, Country, and fellow Americans. Awesome! Don't intend to be corny here today...

 

OK ive got a good story. try to make it short. Ken at work Korean guy,super nice,been at work 30yrs. still speaks broken english. cuses like crazy, funny as hell with his english. Carter in shop called Bullitin Board. a weekly buy,sell,trade mag. in our area. under pets put Pot Belly Pigs give to good home. house broke and put Kens phone #. called me on the line yesterday,come back to line4. workin on Kens machine. oh shit. carter starts conv. and said been gettin prank calls at home. Ken starts. Me too. some ahole call my house bout Damn Pigs. who hell house breaks pigs. told him no call me no mo mufker. keeps callin. what the fut. i was cryin it was so funny. we are Aholes at work.but dang it was funny he just kept cussin. fut him fut this fut that. classic

 

Can I ask y’all a favor. If I ever decide to buy another PACCAR product, could y’all beat me to death with clubs? Thank you.
Truck won’t be done till maybe wed.
This is going to cost me around 6,000$ in unearned revenue.
PACCAR and Rush Peterbilt have no clue how the industry their customer base operates in works.
Now I know how so many O/O lose their trucks because of breakdowns.
Warranty shmorranty. I won’t be taking the truck back to Peterbilt unless it’s a major repair.

 

Yep you gotta have thick skin in some professions. Like the time we sent the parts boy to the machine shop for a bag of spot welds. Funny part really was they were punching slugs and sent him back with 2 bags of them he was so proud. Or, when the guy asked me for a can of our good spray paint. I told him this paint was different you had to shake it until the ball stopped rattling and then it was ready. He came back the next day and said he shook that can for over 2 hours and it never stopped rattling but it seemed to spray ok.

 

Oh. And the A/C line they have to order? I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE FUCKING SHIPPING BECAUSE THEY DONT WANT TO STOCK IT!!!!!!!!!
