Yep, it is a preorder, so not on the website, it is the link that @SuperBad posted, the more the merrier though!

    Sup?

I can drive to Tyler to pick my bumper up!

    Wait... who is your guy?

Always a reason to come to Tyler!

Booooo, we could have an awesome mod day at my house!!!

    Ill even provide the beer!

I have one quote for a place in DFW, I need to get another quote, but it is so far cheaper that what Pelfrey would PC it for... I sent the number to @Naveronski but someone didn't acknowledge it...

Just picked up a 1999 SR5 , 4x4, with 5 speed. It was a gift from my FiL. Currently has 200k on body with a replacement engine. It doesn’t run. It’s been sitting in Louisiana for 5 years. I don’t have much info on it and was going to start with the basics to try and start it up.

Anyone in DFW familiar with 1st gens willing to swing by and take a look? I’m in lantana (near Argyle/Denton). I’ll buy a case of beer.

    I’d appreciate any help. Thanks

Interested, but not sure when I will have time. I'm not terribly far from you either.

So it doesn't run. What does it do (besides sit there)?

@TXTaco13 so Patrick... that guy gave me a number I did not expect... I had to ask him like 3 times to make sure i understood him correctly...

He coats a lot of bumpers a year apparently because that is a very nice number to get those Pelfrey bumpers coated.

I haven’t tried to crank it. He thinks the fuel pump is bad. What I plan to do:

    Drop fuel tank and flush
    Replace fuel pump
    Replace all fluids
    Replace battery

And try to start her up.

Tires are bad/flat spotted. But going to wait on those until it’s running.

Besides cleaning the interior, that was my game plan.

You got garage/workshop, tools, etc., or do you need them?

I plan to do it all myself, or should say not paying a shop. I have most tools but probably will need some, but I’m ok with buying them. It’s going to be a long project for me but looking forward to it. My Dad has a lift about 7 miles away that will be extremely helpful, so trying to decide if I should tow strap it up and take back roads there. I’ve read I can’t use a tow dolly and towing on all four wheels is bad. But curious if a short ride would cause too much damage

Yea, they do crazy volume. Sounds like he hooked it up! Happy to help out! I might be adding a bumper to that, you never know!

Edit: Did he tell you the different black finishes?

You need Air Fuel & Spark to run. I'd recommend find ing out which one(s) you're not getting before throwing parts at it. You should be able to put 12v direct to the fuel pump to see if it works. A Power Probe is awesome for things like that.
