    I am going to drive straight out to Mammoth after work Thursday and wake up at the campsite so I can start making a fire ring and clean up the area a little so its ready for everyone to roll in. I will propabbly get to mammoth around midnight at latest.

    Well, the way they write the manuals for those baofengs, you pretty much DO need a phd in astrophysics to figure out how to use it.

    :rofl: I almost did the same thing at a red light on my way up there, I saw an overland Taco and was trying to get him to roll his window down but he got creeped out and ignored me. then He turned before I started up the mountain lol
