    There is just little over a quart of coolant in our TRD SC systems unless you got a bigger reservoir.

    HUH? you are saying that inside the intercooler, lines, reservoir, and radiator, that all adds up to 1 quart? Must be a typo... but I don't know for a fact how much it holds

    I ran less than a gallon for sure, but yeah, the blower holds a sort of decent amount of coolant. If you do a simple drain and refill though it is one and 1/8 or one and 1/4 quart.

    How critical would post-intercooler nozzle placement for standard water injection be? Drilling and tapping into the manifold bolt cover would be easy enough.

    It's only important in turbo applications. Dont want to fill up the intercooler with liquid. We can place them from behind the intake sensor anywhere we like.

    In those applications it's easy. You tap into something post-intercooler, and on an air-air setup that's simple. With our AWIC it's a little more challenging. Especially since some here were concerned about the spray pattern being uniform going into the cylinders.

    I don't understand why people gravitate towards pre-compressor installs, aside from ease of use. I know some people say the mist helps the rotors seal better.

    Problem I would see is that you're heating up the injectant with the compressor, lessening it's intercooling effects. Cool injectant hitting the compressed charge would cool it far more. Sometimes even sub-ambient!

    Ease of install, yes. Cools the rotors, yes. I agree with you on spraying post charge. Maybe I'll do that too.

    Yes indeed.

    I was going to do it by tapping the charge air cooler lid, but I didnt think it would mix good. Then again I have not taken mine off, I’ve only seen it from pics other people have posted. So I could be missing the whole picture, maybe it would work.

    One main factor is if you install post tb you must have a solenoid to turn the system on and off or you will constantly suck water into the motor when in vacuum.
