From what I can tell the FCC at one time did issue licenses for CB’s. It gave up decades ago, because nobody got one. Today you get a “license” by owning a CB. You still need to abide by the 4 Watt rule.

Trust me, I do not condone breaking the law but I would not get a licence for the 4 or 5 times a year I needed to use a CB or Ham radio. Let them come and get me. :quickdraw:

Yeah, no license needed for CB, or "citizens band". It's only for HAM or GMRS and some other acronyms I'm sure.

I put stickers for more horse power!
I stopped to change a flat tire to a laddy with two kids. County police and a tow truck driver stopped too. Ramp from 695 to Ritchie why south. She was trying to give us money but none of us took it. The kids will remember me as the hero on the lifted 4runner :D

Always feels good helping others. The other day, a woman had a flat, so I stopped to help her. Well, her spare was flat too. Had a screw in it. I used my ARB kit to fix the hole, then my OBA to fill it up, and used my myriad of tools I carry to change it out. All in all took about 30 minutes. She was blown away that I had all that shit in my truck.

I'm over a year in now so a CMC and pinch weld mod is not as scary anymore. That sticker is giving me all sorts of confidence :militarypress:
