California is a nice place to live but when I see a nice big house/yard like that I sometimes wonder what I’m doing here. Beautiful setup you have there!

I have a retired friend that has a townhouse in SD and a few acres here in VA. Best of both worlds.

I ordered mine on July 1st, picked up locally on July 12th. Quick turn around on the bare metal from RCI.

Yeah. Things are getting out of control down here with taxes and home prices. We’re on a tiny plot (no real yard to speak of) and anything in the neighborhood goes for $1 million plus. :annoyed:

We took a trip there in the 80's for a McDonnell Douglas interview in Long Beach. Man what a beautiful place. And the Grand Prix was running that week. The job paid 2.5 times my Virginia pay but the housing sent me back home. Well that and the I-5 congested traffic. 70 mph for 2 miles. Stop for 15 minutes. Repeat. Rinse. That was 30 years ago. I cannot imagine traffic and prices now. That was a great time though. Silicon Valley was a booming beast. My home here with around 1/3 acre is worth roughly $300k. That wouldn't get a townhouse on the left coast. For a $million here you get large waterfront spreads.

Not sure where you are but we were at Crown Lake last week and it was toasty. At Table Rock Lake in MO now and still the same. That time of year. Hard work pays off...everything looking good.

Don’t get me wrong. It’s beautiful down here and I love where we live. The problem is CA has exorbitant taxes and out of control RE prices. And I can’t really go into CA politics. I can only dream of a waterfront spread!

You can do it. I sold my OR wheels with tires mounted (with out the TPMS sensor) with 19K miles on them to a local TW member for $600. I priced them to sell fast which they did. He had a SR5 and was excited about getting OR wheels and tires. He actually say my ad on Craigslist.
