She loved her bath.....feeling like some snow tires will be required up here this winter and thinking about going larger than the 265s I have on now. Thoughts?

I still have the stockers on my '17 OR and except for the first snow of the year when I foolishly took Crystal Falls road down from 108 I had no problem. Even then I would not have had an issue if four cars would not have gotten sideways blocking the road in the steepest part. I still got her stopped but it was a real pucker moment.

When these wear out I will go with falken wildpeak at3w in 265/75r16

How bout a Taco Saturday, at my house, this weekend... I can neither confirm nor deny there may be an entire brake system being replaced at that same time.

I'm hoping to get up into the snow this winter and also hoping to neeeeeeeed them hahaha. I live down a 1 mile backroad/dirt road that will certainly go unplowed and my driveway is a nice steep climb. How else am I supposed to bomb up and down it all winter?? lol

That one and kewin mill road must be the worst after it snows. Not so much the snow but all the people not prepared to drive in it. I almost got hit by a school bus on kewin mill, had to drive way off the road to get out of the way.

I’ve been real happy with my stock tires too except they’re wearing faster than I’d like. Trying to figure out what I want to replace them with.

We almost bought a place that would have required driving Kewin Mill. glad we ended up in Sonora Meadows. At least you don't HAVE to drive Crystal Falls when it snowing.

I have 285/75/16’s but I’m lifted 2.5”-3”. Had to do a cab mount chop and trim the fenders some. Will have to trim more soon since I’m still rubbing when wheelin’. Last picture I’m on a rock. Second picture you can zoom in on the rear of the front tire and see where I’ve trimmed some. If you want to see it in person sometime I’m in Sonora so not far from you. 925F4A3E-C4AF-45A7-8919-5B3F5670E70E.jpg 72030AC1-A2D8-4474-9271-C1FDD4263FAA.jpg7A8C3E98-347B-4988-91B1-E7237F1C07EB.jpg

Nice! Ya I'm lifted 2.5" as well (didn't measure exactly doh!) but certainly looking at the CMC to stuff something bigger under those wheel wells. Need to get my hands on (or buy!) a welder I suppose.....

I'm assuming I could go aftermarket Fenders instead of trimming....how bad was the trimming so far?

Trimming is super easy. I just use a dremel with a cutting wheel. Most people who stuff 35’s under there trim 2” off the whole fender. I’ve just been doing a little here and there but should probably just hack the 2” off but that will eliminate the fender liners which will open up the “air scoop” and I don’t want a snorkel cause they’re ugly. Eventually I’ll do a under the hood snorkel but until then I’m keeping my liners
