    so i've got this thin metal sheet behind the left side of the cubby. the youtube video Jeff posted shows him drilling to the right of it and just having notches, but my metal goes all the way to the edge of the opening. any hazard to just drilling through it too?

    I have the ARB coupler that came in the tire inflation kit. It was an 1/8” too far from the door closing. A quick pass of the razor blade on the inner plastic ribs of the door and it fits perfect now. No need for spacers.

    You can see right in the middle of the panel when it was trimmed down

    Yes, with the ARB couplers it’s tottaly doable. Originally we ran a standard coupler and they are taller. So we just made it to work with all of them just to be on the safe side.

    Why not enlarge the enclosure ~1/2” deeper? Then you wouldn’t have to mess with all the spacers. Just an idea.

    Been thought of: then we run into the issue of it not fitting into the opening of both the 2nd and 3rd gens. Additionally guys with the high clearance bumpers it’s already very tight.

    Thinking about buying a BCM, but they are on back order, but can I just put the switch on the side of the bed? I have a tonneau cover and then I’d only need to route power back to the bed cubby? I have to go back there anyway to grab hose it seems like I can easily flip the switch there and not mess with the cab?

    I just zip tied the switch to the compressor. The switches that fit the stock holes in the cab aren't high enough amps. I know some are using them anyway. I didn't bother wiring up the on light either. I figure if the compressor is making noise then that means it's on.

    I think it's electrically absurd to have a compressor with a build in relay for the switch and yet the relay itself requires more than 5 Amps of current to switch on. There's no way you're really going to be pushing the 15 or whatever Amps through the switch. That negates the purpose of the relay!

    Am I wrong?
