Since it’s been sitting and not running for so long, I’ll need to change fluids no matter what. I can check the fuel pump before replacing. And you are right I probably should verify it before assuming it’s bad. I think I’m going to take the bed off as it seems pretty easy from what I’ve read. It will give me a good chance to take a look at the frame too. Sounds like it can be a two done with two people right?

I also think think brakes are bad. Need to take a closer look at rotors.

Here is a before an after with the power washer. Found a nice sized ant bed inside so got to get rid of those FF697F54-368F-467D-A92F-7DEDE555E805.jpg8F883B95-AFE3-4CD1-9A90-F79FDC39107C.jpg

Yeah hope so. Just worried about rust. Don’t see much really yet. Once it’s mechanicaly sound, I can start doing some cooler mods. It does have 3rz-n73 engine in it (no idea on mileage) from what I gathered it’s pretty much the same as the -FE? Anything I need to worry about with it?

No clue. I'm not familiar with all the engines in the taco's. The only one i've ever owned is my 3rd gen.

No problem. I’ll make a post in the first gen forum. Hopefully I can get this running soon and meet up w everyone. All I know is what I’ve gathered on this site past two weeks. It will be a good learning experience

Yea he did, I was line damn that is a price I did not expect.

He didn’t but said they have all different kinds of shades and textures of blacks to choose from so we can go from there later.

I went into that link very skeptical... but left very impressed...

Pretty sure that is Monday and not tomorrow?

Well I just got an erection...

Someone just went hard in the paint and the need to know more has just intensified immensely because I feel like this is just the start of something greater for this truck...

Does the roof rack tie in through the cab to the roll cage or is it just bolt to the cab?

Has a mount welded to the cage that sticks through the roof and is bolted to it.
