Big ones are King suspension, SSO bumper w/winch, Pelfreybuilt sliders.
I had a problem lifting up the tray in my center console without almost dropping it each time. So I etched some grooves in the middle of it with my dremel for my fingers to grab a hold of. Super small, but like the radio knobs from tacoweide, it made a world of difference. At least for me :).

Oh and yes...I'm waiting for Meso's change cups to become available again so I have a better place for my quarters. :playball:

This week I finished the sound insulation. Two weeks ago I did the entire back wall with RAAMmat and ensolite. Not difficult but time consuming, and not a very comfortable working position, especially for a 66 yr old. This week I did the 4 doors, much easier. Covered about 40% of the door skin with mat, and almost 100% of the inside panel with mat and ensolite. Much easier to do.
The difference is significant! The inside is much quieter, and the audio has improved. Tighter, more balanced and I'm hearing detail (particularly in percussion) I did not hear before. Dynamics range has greatly improved. Very pleased with the results. Nothing vibrates. Worth the effort!
I have the premium JBL system. The door speakers are a joke! Paper cones and tiny magnets. I have to admit that you can really crank up the volume without distortion, but I can only imagine if the speakers were better!
Has anyone replaced the door speakers and the tweeters in a premium JBL system?

IMG_20180713_210444908-800x600.jpg So weird. I did this a couple of weeks ago just differently. I added a couple of sides of Velcro for a finger grab. Seems like I have Velcro everywhere in my toolbox.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Yes it is very much worth doing the sound deadening. Floor and roof was most time consuming for me. Don't have JBL but did change out all speakers with OEM Audio kit with small amp and sub. HUGE improvements...

I’ve had my truck for over a month and the door rattle seems to be getting worse. where did you get the material to lessen the vibration?

    What a fun truck!
Put the color matched center caps! Or at least get some decals on those bad boys!

I replaced the factory SR head unit with a Pioneer AVH 1440NEX. Then I installed the Subaru Kicker Tweeters, and replaced the rear speakers. Next up will be a Power amp to drive a sub.

I actually thought about doing Velcro, especially since I could take it back off if I wanted. But ultimately my love of power tools and any excuse to use them won out lol.

My last 7 vehicles have been 4x4 trucks or SUV's.

There was one singular Jeep SUV that I bought new in between the run of 4WD vehicles. I figured it would make a sporty little daily driver. I went out to a buddy's farm on a December deer hunt....hunted the first Friday afternoon....was up early the next morning and in the woods. Peaceful morning as we had a rare snowfall that covered everything by the day's end and continued all day and Saturday night. Around his farm while hunting we simply ran his Honda 4-wheelers around to the woods. My 2WD Jeep stayed parked the entire time.

That Sunday around noon I loaded it up with my gear and drove the 90 minute drive back home......took me a few hours to make it due to slipping, sliding and getting stuck in a few spots. He and his dad laughed their arses off at me just trying to get past the dirt road from the farm to the blacktop. They towed me out most of the way. The paved road driving home that morning was an adventure for sure.

I drove it to & from work that next week and had it detailed professionally. It looked brand new and had only ~5,000 miles on it when gifted I it over to the wife. I bought a new K1500 that weekend and never looked back. She loved the little Jeep, but wanted more power and wound up trading to a new Grand Cherokee Limited and really was nuts over that car.

My car flipping days ended 12 years ago when I tried my first midsize crew cab 4x4...a Frontier. It suited my needs perfectly and ran well. Everything I liked in that Frontier I now have in my new Tacoma. I really am very, very happy with this 3rd Gen.

Granted, my need for 4WD generally only arises when I'm hunting, scouting or on slippery boat ramps. Daily driving it's not much of need for me....as we see snow very rarely....once or twice a year maybe.

Truck is looking great....I like the color, model, sliders and tires. I'll bet your 17 yr old is drooling over that truck and has ideas about it, lol.

Sweet looking house and your yard looks wonderful....just like an extension of the golf course in your back yard.

Quicksand lettering on the sign is a perfect match to your Taco. Great pic.

Well done. My truck is in great need of a serious wash session. I think I have enough beer on hand to make this happen today, lol.

If you get time, I'd really like to see more pics of your grille. Looks like a Pro grille with the bull horn emblems. Really cool.

Now that is a neat plate frame to have on your truck. Great way to remember a nice trip.

I'm gonna venture a guess and say you'll get around 11hp gain.....but the real bonus here is the extra torque you'll have. :)

Heck yes. That's got to sound great already. The powered amp & sub will really work wonders.

I like what you did there with the grill @pdenajim

I just got my horns on recently, too. They are really cool.

Had someone ask about them yesterday when I was coming outa the grocery store in the parking lot. He had a sweet looking 2nd Gen MGM. I gave him one of the business cards that Mr Diaz included with the horns.

    Cool product.
