I had 884s/5100s and currently have 885s and 5100s. They ride good to me, better than stock in my opinion. But I have not ever ridden in a truck with the OME shocks. Also I never go off road. My 5100s perform great at the mall, though.

I’m currently running 886s on billies and think it’s pretty dang smooth. Now with that said having no extra weight on the front end right now when I go over something they do rebound kinda hard but it’s just the spring extending.

Ome 887s, dakars, lr uca, sliders, konig countersteer,
From Marie at headstrong.. the ome shocks are a little longer than the 5100s I can't remember what the length difference is. From what I understood the 5100s are better valved for a softer ride but the ome ones are designed for 884-7s .. comes down to preference I have ome shocks and thought about switching to 5100s but wasn't sure if I would lose any height from my 887s with the shorter 5100.. keep in mind I believe it's in (-)5-10mm difference

When the Duratracs are done what will you go with next as your wheeling tire something more aggressive?

I run Billies front and rear and really like the ride on and offroad. I have the 6112s up front and the extended 5100s (aka b110s) in the rear with my Deaver expedition springs. 5100s up front work well too I have seen several rigs that are wheeled prety hard with the 5100s and they seem to do fine.

I have regular 5100's on 886 coils in the front and extended in the back with a yuge leaf pack that you may have already read about.

Initially the 886 coils with 5100's gave me pretty decent bounce in the front when I hit bumps, potholes, etc. After I put a SOS skid on the front it felt a good bit better. On the road it is a good ride, any bumps are short with a very quick recovery. The difference is very noticeable off road.

I have the STT pros 35x12x16. I love them so far. Amazingly quiet on the road. Are the KM3s available yet?
