    What have I done...
    20180713_194441.jpg
    Her's on the left.

We needed 4 doors and wanted to get something reliable and 4x4 and came across this beauty.

04' Tacoma TRD Off Road 4x4. 215k miles and modded quite a bit.

A few things off the top of my head:
    • K&N intake
    • Rostra cruse control system
    • 2-3" front spacers, 1-2" rear AAL
    • New Nexen Roadian AT Pro RA8 LT285/70R-17(33")
    • Moto Metal Series MO951 17" (Gross, I know...)
Need to do some work before I get a new build thread started on it, It may be the same as my current one...IDK...

    We're PUMPED!

So you had to get aftermarket cruise control? Would a Rostra system work in my 2nd Gen?

When I got married, I had a red '98 Jeep Cherokee. My wife liked it so much when it was time to sell her car we bought her a green '98 Jeep Cherokee. We were that couple too for a while.

Interesting thing about them was my Jeep was 100% bullet proof and my dad stills owns it to this day. The green one was a nightmare with breakdowns. Ended up getting rid of it when the gov. was buying used cars to get them off the market and destroy them.

Are you sure the cruise is aftermarket? I'd have to say a TRD should have had cruise standard in 2004

I'm pretty sure the cruse is aftermarket and I don't know jack about it...it came on the truck when I bought it.

I LOVE my xtra cab, and she can't drive stick shift very well anyway...
This truck will be hers untill we pay it off and she buys something else in like 3-4 years. Then it's ALL MINE! :bananadance:

...unless she wants to keep it...

My 1st gen doesn’t have cruise (SR5). I have been looking at Rostra unit. Does it work good OP?

We haven't tested it out enough yet to get a good opinion. I'll update in a bit, were about to take it out.

But whenever my Rosie (5'2" eyes of blue) was in the driver seat of this beast she looked pretty cool and kinda sexy:D so I can envision the similarity between OP and his love.

I need a true suspension upgrade (new coilovers/uac and leafpacks/shocks) and those are planned, but not in budget quite yet... I won't be caught dead with spacers...
