Rough ride after installing 4" lift

    4" suspension lift. Step bars 285 BFG AT tires. Tinted windows
    Had a rough country 4" lift installed on my 16 Trd off-road Tacoma. This lift required compressing the front strut springs and installing a 3" spacer. A 1" spacer is on top. The ride is very rough. I will probably go to the 3" spacer on top of the strut and return the spring back to it's original place. Any thoughts?

    Wonder if I can stay with the rough country upper control arms with the 3" spacer?

    Either a spacer with the compressed spring or a spacer between the strut and mount. Apparently compressing the spring is giving me a rough ride. Any other suggestions, maybe a magic trick?

    When done properly, the only real downside is limited upward suspension travel.

    Seeing as how most of our tires rub at full tuck anyways.... not a terrible thing

    The spacers screw up your ride. Replace them with full length coilovers and you’ll be fine

    You may think #16 falls in that category, but if you try it, you'll solve your problem.

    Not sure who your decision guide was the first go around, but I'll guess it wasn't the folks at Headstrong.
