You know Ima dreamer, and my heart’s offroad. I had to drive away high, so I didn’t get stuck low. Home Sweet Home...

The perfect opportunity for a murdered-out-comparison to my blingy stock ride...

    Looks like a lift.
Maybe a bump in tire size.
    Grill game strong.
    Blacked out badges.
    Matte black “sponsor” stickers.
    Custom wheels, Niiiiize.
    [edit] Anti Glare Hood decal.
After seeing this black beauty, I am pretty sure there’s some Duplicolor for the grill and wheels in the near future.

Anybody got ideas or experience with going powdercoat, or the matte black look on wheels? I know it may not clean as easy as gloss, but I am more concerned with wheel longevity and long term condition.

Holler if this is your ride!

Picture below coming with more black soon!

Jes, if you are going to paint your rims, I would highly recommend going to Ken Wilson Ford in Canton; they will paint your wheels for a good price and a good quality job as well.

Also: your rig looks very nice for no lift!

I know that guy. I helped lay the vinyl on the hood of his truck a while back. Looks like it’s still holding up well.

If worst comes to worst we can build some little rock bridges to clear the bigger obstacles. I had to build this little one to clear a big washout.

    WNC Tacoma sightings.
Forget it. There are way too many Tacomas to even bother trying yo say "Is this one a member here?"

    Great idea.

Heck i watched one video where a Subaru Wagon made it all the way even bottoming out on the floor pan several times on rocks.
Of course it was a POS wagon,i don't think he cared though.

To me it proves the saying "Just because you can, does not mean that you should".

Most certainly will hit it before then.

I think it would be cool to wheel it when the leaves are on the trees and maybe again during fall.Difference in seasons makes it look like another world in perspective.Of course its less than 15 minutes from me and its not a long drive to do that.

When it snows up here we usually get several more inches than everyone else due to elevation change.I have seen 12" at my house and down on I-40 which is less than a ten minute drive have 2-3 inches.

I have to be out of town for a few weeks but would like to go along in mid August if anyone else goes then. I'll watch this thread to see how the earlier trip goes.

I did that trail with my stock 2000 and had no issues whatsoever. Had to see what she had in her when i first got her. You guys still going there on the 22nd? Also, i put some 2" daystar blocks on my front, otherwise stock suspension. (The rear has ride rites and an aal so I'm not worried about that). I came across a set of 16" trd rims off an fj. What size tires should i buy? Definitely looking at A/T, as I'll just burn through a pair of mudders.
