Thanks! You guys have helped a lot. So if it wasnt a drop bracket, all 4 would need to be replaced probably? I think the off road come with bilsteins now too.

The way the lift works in the front is a giant spacer is put on top of the factory shock.




In the rear, you put a large black in the back between the axle and the factory leafs, and then install the RC rear shocks. Those would be the ones you would replace, but really I don't think that'd improve much of anything.

Blocks are not a good lift. They cause axle wrap, which is bad. That's why a full leaf pack replacement is ideal, like I talked about earlier.

It can still cause axle wrap and wear out the leafs prematurely over time. The reason being is it gives the axle a lot more leverage against the leafs.

It's not the end of the world, but it's definitely not a great way to lift the rear.

 

Mine is a daily driver ,I even have 7. 5 in lift Fabtech lift on my Ford that was my daily driver no issues

That’s a solid lift for the price. I’ve ran it on two separate trucks and have recommended it to a lot of people. Everyone loves it.

 

Similar to the one you sent just a different brand basically? Still same lift height?

Which one do you get the most height out of without sacrificing quality?

 

Similar, but the others will ride much better. They’re a high performance coilover whereas bilstein 5100 are just middle quality.

my useless 2 cents. I have a 6" lifted 2018. It's a Pro Comp Stage 1. Tires are 33's on 20inch wheels.

Pros: Because it looks cool, I seldom stop anywhere where a fellow Taco driver or any truck for that matter doesn't have a comment. It's definitely a conversation starting look, especially with a long bed. My wife laughs because random strangers take pictures of it.
I have and it can be taken off road, however I can't imagine it would be much fun nor advisable to "rock crawl" with my setup or many 6" lifts. I feel as if my setup is better suited to "mall crawling".

Con's: Good lord, my gas mileage is crap, as in 14-15 maybe. Get her on the highway and assuming she ever gets past 4th gear that number drops to 13 ish.
If you don't have the stealership setup the whole package you better be prepared to have someone who knows the new TSS safety system on your build team.
Lastly if you want to load the bed, which I have, since it is still a truck, it is not much fun with heavy items since you are loading just about to the level of your lower chest if your average height (I'm 5-10).

Daily driver I do enjoy the truck but tend to avoid the interstate just because. A long road trip... eh, We would take my wife's mostly stock Jeep Wrangler 4 door.
