    Same here. Like wtf.

No fuck that. I wouldn’t let them keep any of that stuff... yank that shit off for sure. Or buy the truck back and go balls to the fucking wall with it. Sooooo good.

Sue. It’s the American dream right?

I always had that issue in my old truck, always around July/August. Such shitty glue.

    I give it a year.

Why would you lose all the stuff on your truck? When they ask if you have all personal belongings out, you say no. Obviously hindsight is 20/20 but you should’ve had it towed to your house

Really all I want is maybe the shocks but I'm not sure if the driver is even salvagable but def the rack, rear bumper and maybe the headunit...I guess maybe the 3 good tires and wheels due to the tires only having like 2k miles on them..I'd take the blown one to discount and get it warranted out.. my alarms only 4 months old..I have all the factory stuff but the bumper but I'm sure I could find one for around 100 150 bucks and just toss that in the bed

No airbags popped so they might not total it, just give your insurance company an itemized list of all the stuff on it

Most likely insurance will tell him to kick rocks, unless he had it “certified” for coverage. Usually the max coverage is 1k aftermarket if the stuff was not added to the policy, if it is totalled.

This is a non issue, he just needs to strip it all down. Granted my bmw was bone stock, but I could’ve easily stripped aftermarket stuff off it if I wanted.

Just depends on the insurance, not sure how uninsured claims work but if it was the other driver's insurance they would be required to make you whole to include any aftermarket stuff.

True, might be different for uninsured.

Just buy it back and make it the monster you want. The rule in Texas is if the cost of repairs does not exceed the value of the vehicle you don't get a branded title.

I’m just saying if he doesn’t swap parts, it might be the case depending on coverage.

If insurance totals it, it gets a salvage title.

Nope, USAA totaled my truck. I have an unbranded title.

Might be a special case. I found my X5 at co part and it had a salvage title.
