Weee bit of pucker considering I didn't know anything was going on. Was out just on a fun run with my older son. Got to Genoa Peak and saw the smoke and then got the alert on my phone. Fire is east of Genoa and wind is blowing east and my house is just west so I think Tahoe will be fine. Didn't mess around and just headed home immediately.
Got yelled at by Forestry Service on my way out for not paying attention to the news while I was in no cell phone reception range. So I told them to eat a dick and do their job instead of acting like mall cops. Then one of them just happened to see my carry as I was getting into my truck and that started another shit show. Go back to Cali you ignorant fuck sticks.

If you’re in NV and legal, what the hell could they say about your carry?

Not a god damn thing. But their piece of shit F150 had CA plates and they were obviously were clueless.

I just called my buddy who's a Douglas deputy while they tried to find their assholes in the wrong state. It was fucking hysterical listening in on Douglas's dispatch frequency when that went over the air. Dude just came back and handed me my license and said I was free to go. I point blank asked him "Aren't you going to repeat what dispatch relayed to you? Or should I have my son repeat it?" The boy and I laughed, fist bumped, and left dust in our wake.

If anyone likes to listen in, here's the local dispatch stations I have saved on my sun visor. Kinda nice having a dual band to listen in on the shit shows and transmit separate.

I got some routes I planned to some lakes I haven't been to out by Blue Lakes. I'd be down for a little exploring.

Had the lift on for a couple weeks but today was the first time I was able to get on some uneven ground. Not as wild as most of you on here but man it feels good! Need to dial in the ride a little but no scraping hahah. Hope everyone has a good Friday and a radical weekend. :)

Anyone have a lead on wrecked gen 2s in the Reno/surrounding areas? Looking for short bed tie down rails. Mine came with a soft cover and the removed them to install the supports.

When you find the rails I'm pretty sure I have a couple extra OEM tie downs that you can have.
