My little short bus is so light though. It probably barely compresses. Well see what it does in gulches in a few weeks.

I got the rear bumper that was on Jimbo's truck, then migrated to Brad's truck before it became my rear end. It's been a great rear end. Lots of good juju. If you're getting some of Jimbo's rear end, I don't think you can go wrong. Quality rear end.

I’m rocking the Maxxs. They clear mud like no body’s business but I can’t really attest to snow; I’ve heard they’re moderate. URE this weekend has been the biggest test I’ve given them (both airing down and terrain handling). They’ve handled everything I’ve thrown at them and they keep trucking.

The STT Pros on my truck are quiet for MTs, great on trails. I want to put ATs on for the daily grind. The STT Pros are quiet for a mud tire, but miles and miles every day and the wife is always like WHAT? I CANT HEAR YOU? STT Pros are quiet, but not that quiet.

Mine started out quiet and then one day I was like, is my truck falling apart? Ended up being the road noise. That’s the only thing I mark against them.

The sad thing is there is going to be some squeaks and rattles you didn't have before. For one the front strut assembly no longer has rubber isolators on the spring perches, 2 that leaf pack may or may not have the nylon pucks to keep the leafs from rubbing each other, the struts and rear shocks went from having rubbing bushings to solid uniballs. If you think your truck is bad I'll take you for a ride in my 240 where everything is solid mounted and there is no rubber bushings anymore.

I would raise the front up some more drive it a bit to let it settle and take measurements rinse repeat. I have ~1/2" rake and it's about perfect. You are probably a little light for that rear leaf pack but I would hate to tell you to start messing with it just yet as it may still settle in a bit especially if you load it up a few times and get it flexing good. Also once you start removing leafs you'll need to trim the pin down so to go back with those leafs you'd need another locating pin.
