    I agree. If you have the money to buy one of these bad boys, you should be schooled on driving one first. I had the opportunity to drive a super charged Porsche Targa once when I was younger, and it almost got away from me. I never drove anything that pinned my ears back like that except a friends 427 Vette. It sure was fun though.

    My father started my performance driving career in carts. Very small and fast that punished poor decisions and rewarded smooth lines. As I got older he moved me into what we used to call “momentum cars.” Sub 2 liter cars that were quick, but not fast so to keep lap times low you had to learn to be very smooth and where to work hard to keep up momentum. The last club racer I ran was a 3.8 liter Porsche 911 that if not respected would try to kill you. It actually did try just that going into turn 12 at Road Atlanta about 15 years ago because I was focusing too much on how to pass someone and not the corner. Thankfully that shunt killed the car and not me.

    What does all this matter in reference to this conversation? I’ve driven a few super cars in my life and can say that if you have no concept of physics or how tires work then a super car is really a suicide car. Way too many people try to drive them like Civics at full tilt and find out that in something with real power full tilt will likely lead to the closing of your estate in the near future.

    The last new Porsche I bought came with a free weekend at a performance driving school. I don’t know if they still do that but it surprises me that other performance brands don’t do the same. But I reckon when you produce limited volumes and a quarter of them are totaled in the first three months or ownership that just jacks up the values on what’s remaining.

    Totally agree. I realized real quick that I was sitting in a rocket in that Targa, and got respect real quick. I had never hit freeway speed in second gear before.

    Most popular threads on BugattiWorld;
    "Best Veyron plate bumper" "33s and rubbing, cmc or spacers?"

    This is actually just a range. "Sketchy range" is redundant. We repainted the target carriers every week.

    A year and a half ago, I bought a GT350. Along with it, you get a free day of instruction and driving from the Ford Performance Racing School at the Utah Motorsports Campus. You can pay for a second day - that was a no-brainer! The instructors have impressive resumes and will teach you as much as you can possibly soak up. It's astounding to find out what the car is capable of and it's sure no McLaren.

    Give your taco truck the competitive advantage with "PROPAEN" and let them know where to shut it off in case of an "EMERGENGY"
