Well, not quite. The sun just exists, and indifferent to your existence.

It's more like yelling at your dad after you've been shown the switch, or insulting at the police officer 5 seconds after he says "now I'm just issuing you a warning"

Probably not for sound... My brother (LEO) gets all pissed at the chippys because they all have unpiped harleys they ride off-duty, so they don't site other people for dB violations.

While solar activity does have some effect on earth's surface temperature, the orbital position, angle (tilt), and most importantly, the presence of greenhouse gases that trap heat are what determine the temperature we feel.

Damnit, you got me going again...

The mag mufflers are fine, I like the one on my cruiser, but they aren't like super high grade stainless that doesn't rust at all. Flowmaster mufflers are aluminized and mine has already rusted through on my Taco. The next muffler I'm gonna try is the Thrush 17715 on the tavo

I work for the U.S. Geological Survey. My research is mostly with groundwater extraction, water use, and remote sensing.

That’s pretty cool. Sounds kinda fun that if you get to work in the feild. If its lab work then sounds boring.

haha, yeah, when I was in school I always figured a geologist would be out in the field a lot. Turns out if you specialize in remote sensing (I work with satellites), it's not like you're up on the satellite collecting the data, so you can pretty much to that from anywhere, which usually means... the computer in my windowless office... However, I do stress the importance of ground truthing that others (ahem, NASA) don't. So I do get out in the field still.

We do a lot of GPS and leveling surveys that groundtruth the elevation data I get from satellites. We did a survey a couple years ago where our vertical error was less than 1/10th of an inch over a 5 mile run at Mammoth Lakes. Other times I get to sit in the middle of the Coachella Valley babysitting a GPS antenna for 8 hours a day when its 126 degrees.

I finally became un-glued with this exhaust issue. I tore the whole thing out and ordered a Borla cat back. Maybe someone else wants to deal with it so on CL it goes
