What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Changed engine oil and filter.
Didn't replace the air filter; it looks like new, due to the efficiency of the Donaldson pre-cleaner.

 

What kind are you going to put on?

 

Planned on doing it this week.

I'm assuming you're asking about the new set?

They are RRW RR2s, 17", with Falken WildPeaks (265/70). I had to put spacers on the front wheels to get the wheels to fit over the front hub dust covers though. So I used 1.25" spidertrax all around.

Also had to do some very minor trimming of the back of the wheel well, because of rubbing. The spacers pushed it out just enough to catch when turning.

 

Have 265/75/16 wildpeaks but want to upgrade to 285s when they wear out. Hoping they'll fit without any modifications..Really like em..

 

Nothing too dark, probably one over legal. As long as it's not cheap sh!t that peels in a couple years like I had on it.

 

W/ 285 you'll have to trim... even w/ a lift. So I've come to understand by what I've seen on here

I don't think it would be significant trimming. just some body panels. You shouldn't need to chop the Cab Mount, or anything like that, as far as I know. But that's with a small lift. If you're running all stock, it might be different.

 

It's a 3 in. lift. It'll be close I think

 

Just wondered since I've been reading up on it lately. I just had some 35% put on my front windows and it's just a hair lighter than the factory rear tint. I'm planning on getting an 80% put on the windshield here sometime as well to cut back on some of the heat.

 

Try aleve that stuff works well for me. Also whenever a doc prescribes pain meds I ask for Ultram. I've had success with it. It doesn't have the addicting qualities or the opoid feelings when taking it for me. Some say it doesn't help them for pain though it can be hit and miss I guess.
