I am looking to start a thread for TSS Supported Mods for us 2018+ People looking to maintain TSS (radar cruise BSM etc.) I will update this thread as I find (or people comment with) mods that will work with TSS. I know there are not to many at this point but now that the truck has been out for about a year we should start seeing some more aftermarket support.

In any case, Im not aware of any mods that are TSS supported right now so please chime on in!

What do you mean? 95% of mods do not influence TSS in any shape, way or form. As far as I know the only two mods that might take TSS into account are the grille and lift. Everything else, like suspension, tires, wheels, sliders, bumpers, all interior mods, racks, covers, etc have nothing to do with anything.

And really, TSS isn't a black and white, perfect system. I've had errors with and without my Pro grille where the system has made outrageous brake warnings. What works for one person may not work for another.

This thread is for those types of mods that people have done that keep TSS working I understand it’s not a perfect system, I have gotten a few false brake warnings.

But grills, lifts, bumpers, lifts, lights etc.

    1. Grilles must have a TSS sensor mount and cutout.
    2. Lifts. If you lift a vehicle, sensors may or may not need to be recalibrated. The lift components themselves will be identical to non TSS components.
    3. Front Bumper. Cannot be in front of TSS radar.

It’ll probably be a better and shorter list to ask for what conflicts with TSS as there isn’t many things that do. It’s a longer list to list out what does work with it. Just my opinion. If you do it that way, then you can assume everything else is all gravy, which for the most part is. Lifts require recalibration, and don’t put Mickey Mouse “garnishes” in front of it when putting on custom grilles or PRO grilles. That pretty much sums it up right there actually.

What outrageous warnings did your system make? Did it inadvertently slow down?

Open road, no one or nothing in front of me and the brake warning (as well as audible alert) came on and scared the piss out of me as I was not expecting it. Happened twice so far. Neither time did the truck brake on its own, though

I did my grille today. I made a video on how to reconnect the radar and everything if you want to add it to your list.

This happened to me several times on the same stretch of road. I eventually realized it was everytime I passed under a metal pedestrian bridge above the highway, no idea why but it consistently happens.

Sometimes I wish I could turn it off... It's nice to have and I like using it, but not all the time.
