Houston area (along with DB's not from Houston) BS thread

I'm standing outside, and I hear this flopping sound. Here comes this car with two! Front tires flat. Shredded and beating his fenders flat. 2 tires!! He sees goodyear, and says great! A tire shop! they are closed sunday stupid!

 

That was one of the strangest things about moving out here. The fact of all the dam places closed out here on Sunday.

 

Sunday is god's day. Most of the people here are use to it. People that move here get confused.

In Pearland and Friendswood there are actually a lot of places that don't open on Monday either.

 

We can afford to do that in TX... Living cost are low here, not like California buddy boy

Texas is better than cali. This is a fact. And if you move here for work or any reason then you are one of the examples. Taxes or not. Texas is the best country there is.

 

I'm not religious so I don't know. Its usually small businesses so I assume it's since they're open on Saturday they want to give their employees 2 days off.

 

Lol the property tax here is 3x more then Vegas was. Don’t know about Cali never owned a house there. Why do texas people hate cali so much? Living there no cared about texas but I always here everyone crying about them.

 

So far every beer from Buffalo Bayou Brewing has been amazing. Def my favorite.

 

Just annoying when ppl move here and talk spicy about moving here, be miserable elsewhere
