Yes you can do that locally however you may be surprised what they will want to charge you just in labor to do it...

if you take em to the truck shop it will be around 400$ plus the cost of the bearings. @Speed Freek might be able to do it as well

Yeah, I don’t have a hydraulic shop press so not doing it myself but could have sworn that someone local had posted that they went to a shop and had the old pressed out and new pressed in for like 40 a side.

Damn thats cheap!! I would find out where that was and have them do it.
I usually have to cut the old bearing off at an angle and chisel it off then then press the new bearing on without separating it (the new bearing is a double row style bearing), its is a bit of a pain and will fail if not done correctly.
This is why I usually tell people to just buy the assemblies complete. will cost about the same in the end either way, unless taking on the labor yourself...
I can cut them off and press on the new stuff but its not that cheap unfortunately. Even with a 2 piece bearing remover those races dont come off typically, still end up cutting them.

Exhaust re-route is finally complete. Took the truck to and spoke with Taylor. They normally do exhaust and fab work on Jeeps but after speaking with him for awhile, I had a good feeling and wanted to see what he could do. I briefly explained what I wanted and he decided on the rest. Taylor went beyond what I had in mind and I couldn’t have been happier! I would highly suggest anyone looking for a re-route, or any other fab work to check them out. This job is obviously more than necessary for a re-route, but I asked for more clearance and he optimized every aspect of it.

He is willing to do a more simple version of the re-route as others have posted per request so PM me if you have any questions about pricing, etc.

Well, my driver's seat, after almost 9 years, is wearing thin along the door side edge and a small rip has begun. I have toyed with the idea in the past of a replacement seat like a race truck seat, but not fancy (or expensive). Can anyone recommend what I may have as far a schoices for a direct, bolt in, replacement seat (driver's) for my 2010 DC Tacoma? @Speed Freek any recommendations? Anything in stock in North County San Diego to look at and sit in or is mail order (Amazon?) fine?
    Thanks amigos!

Putting a feeler out. I have a buddy looking for a vehicle. He wants to get out, explorer, camp, etc. But doesn’t plan on doing any serious wheeling.

He was asking about Wranglers but i recommended he look into a 3rd gen 4 Runner. If anyone has an insight of a decent one please let me know!

    His price is around 6K.

I need to celebrate the Cubs sweeping the Padres and sailing to the top of the division as the Brewers are free falling.
