David, I really dont know where to recommend you for a new seat unfortunately...maybe the salvage yards down near brown field toward the border? They have tons of yards and Im sure they have to have a good seat, although the drivers side may be tough since it gets a lot of use!

David, you could look at some of the better quality seat covers like Wet Okole or Clazzio. It won't fix the wear in your original seat but it will cover it up and make the seats look like new. Just a suggestion.

Looking for a Pelfreybilt standard rear bumper for my '14. Last attempt before I buy a new one.

Like Dirk recommended I have a knock off Wet Okole in my car called Cover King in my car. Cheaper than a seat and adds some comfort. Or look into a used or new set of trd seat covers. My brother has trd covers in his 07 with 350k miles. Could help before the foam starts to pop out.

The foam is just peaking through the little rip.
Cover King, huh? I will look...

EVERYONE is eyeing their new dual swing out. The second hand market is going to flood with bumpers here soon.

You’re not OVERLANDISH enough if you don’t have a swing out... :boink:

Could just unbolt the gate and store it for 6 months for when you decide you want somewhere to put your full size spare.

The only reason why I say that is because I haul my bike to the track more than I overland. Would I be able to leave the tailgate down with the unbolted swing out?

Not with the current design, but the new design you should be able to remove the swing out if needed. Since it can be added separately it only makes sense that it would be able to be removed as well.

Idk about this. From the sounds of it, the ability to add the swingout still requires perminent modificTions.

    That’s an @Pelfreybilt question.

I ran my bumper for a week or so before I was able to mount the swingout and had no problem with the tailgate. All I did was cover the spindle/mount for the swingout to keep it from getting hogged up.

EDIT: I will say that the swingout is a heavy SOB and I wouldn't want to take it on and off all the time. So you may be onto something not wanting it.

I could be wrong, but it looks like the new design has a bolt through the hinge and could theoretically be unbolted and the gate removed temporarily :notsure:

    upload_2018-7-5_9-48-0.jpg

@Pelfreybilt whats the word! Can the gate be unbolted, set in the garage and then out back on later?
