Mine was from actual contact. Not blood. Learned that lesson. Night ops and breaking brush. NVGs dont work well in tree cover with no natural moon light.

 

Same here. I looked carefully before stepping into the bush to retrieve an RC sailplane. Whoops!

We didn’t go through because it was a serious goat rope. Mass of humanity there. Looked like the Maze on 80 in Emeryville during the commute. Insanity. Some trying to get into the area, most coming out. Broken rigs being towed. Some beautiful trucks, Jeeps, Land Cruisers, int’l Scouts, Older Broncos, buggies. It was fun to watch them go through. Saw an old Willy’s that had to finish the run to the trailer backwards as he broke a tie rod. Crazy day.
