Use to live in Fairfield, east of Mt. Home in the early 80's. Miss that country.

IMG_3160.jpg Spent the first 27 years of my life just west of Boise and the most recent 13 just across the Southern Idaho border in Utah. We still have family in Idaho so spend a lot of time there as well as exploring around City of Rocks and the Sawtooth National Forest(Where the picture was taken). I imagine when it comes time to find a spot to retire Idaho will be high up on the list.

Just stock for the moment. Looking to get larger tires in the future and need to look into the Bilstein 5100s. I only want about 2 inches of lift.

A couple weeks ago I got to complete one of my bucket list items of visiting all 50 states. The final 6 were all in the Rocky Mountain area that included Idaho. If you live in or near Boise I would highly recommend Goldy's Breakfast Bistro. Their blueberry pancakes were so good we ordered another plate to share. That night we went to the Fork Restaurant and I had some of the best tasting Trout ever. I live in Florida and only rarely have any fresh water fish. We went to see the Craters of the Moon which was very interesting along with the waterfalls at Twin Falls. It was really nice that your legal speed limit is 85MPH which made things go quickly. You are truly blessed to live in such a beautiful state.

Where did you see an 85mph speed limit? Or do you mean its 80, but noone will stop you for 85? If so you just got lucky haha. If you pass an ISP on I84 or I86 you will get stopped. At least out between snowville, and the I86/84 interchange... The troopers out there stop people all day going 84 or 85mph. I got stopped for 84mph twice in the same stretch of interstate so I set my cruise at 80 through there.

Hell yah! We should have a meet up one weekend. Swap ideas and find offroading buddies

(As I say this I remember that my truck is still bone stock and would have trouble following an OR)

You are right. It must have been in another state that I was in. I did average 85 but made sure that there were always some other drivers going faster than me.

Yeah bought them also just so I didn't second guess myself with the setup. Also bought the ECGS bushing for the drivers side to be safe.
