I had one of my older bowtechs set up. One a lot of guys use is the geniuses since the draw length is so versatile. You can set any bow up really but I wouldn’t be using my archery rig on the river for fear of dropping it and loosing it haha.

I know a few companies are making dedicated fishing bows, prolly a couple hundred bucks last I checked. You don’t need 60-70lb compound. Any high let off is going to help through the shot process. Just remember aim low! Like 3-6 inches low depending on how deep the fish are and how close they are.

Happy Monday morning y’all. Second day hang over from a concert at Variety Playhouse in Atlanta Saturday. Brother in law was the DD so I was sucking it back. Bad idea. I’m not as young as I used to be.

River tubing was fun yesterday!!!!!! Water was a balmy 58 degrees! I will go back bc I have a score to settle with one section of rapids. Dumped me out of tube and slammed my knee into a rock.....I must go back and win :) in the meantime, lots of memories made and pics to take of the multicolored bruising progression. Hahahahaahahah

At least I was not carried out by stretcher.....saw someone who was further down river!

Well, I am one of those outlier guys that uses an Oneida Eagle.
I got one when I was 14 and never looked back. Been years since I picked up my bow. Seems like now they are very geared toward bow fishing. If i update my Oneida with another, I need it to both fish and hunt.
