Got my appendix out so I couldn't lift for the last 3 weeks. Itching to get back in there.

Thinking of going tomorrow, but just going light and doing some arms and some stationary bike or rowing machine. Probably won't squat or deadlift, doc told me to wait 6 weeks to do anything like that.

Anyone been through the same? How long did you wait to lift?

 

Just thought I’d share with my taco friends how you could save some money on pre workout.
For about 5 years now I’ve been making my own pre workout for roughly half the price as your typical pw from your local vitamin shop or wherever you get your pw from.
Pw in the retail world had a TON of bs that isn’t necessary, they load it up with junk so it look like you’re getting a lot for your money.
By making my own pw, I get about 80 servings for $50 shipped. Here’s the setup I order from.

Now for my serving size

Creatine (strength) 5 grams
Beta alanine (endurance) 4 grams

Caffeine (energy) 100mg
Crystal light flavoring 1.7 grams

I’ve played around with the numbers for a long time but for the last 2 or so years I’ve dial it in to my liking. The grams per serving may be too much for some, but that’s my setup. Now since you’re getting 3x the amount for the same price as a 25 serving tub, you can spend more money on tacos, or taco mods haha

Thanks, yeah she's a good motivator, why she's a popular trainer. I was gone for a few days and she started back up her track sprint workouts, she was all about showing off her quads last night. lol

 

I need that type of body dysmorphia. I suffer the opposite.

 

Thanks man, I've given it a bunch of thought. My level was 242. Despite hammering in the gym I was barely or not at all out lifting the wife (Its not that bad sounding, she is an extraordinarily strong woman lol). Started the test, eased into it and now I am easily out lifting her. It feels good to feel strong again. I am not as lean or buff as the pretty boy in the above posts, but damn I like it when she grabs my arms or chest and says goddamn.
