And did they go with blocks on that truck instead of new leafs? Is that why they added the 2in ones?

Yeah I’d say so. It’s just cheaper.

And as far as adding more in. it’s not recommended to go higher than 3” on these trucks without doing a drop bracket lift.

Ok. Ya that was the other option I had started with. Just going with a 4in RC lift and changing out the shocks. But seems I may be better off going this route. Whats your thoughts?

The rough country lift would be ok if you aren’t doing much if any off roading. Folks on this site are mainly against anything rough country just based on a few horror stories. But this type of lift is also permanent. Drop bracket lifts remove a 6” piece of the trucks factory front crossmember for clearance for the front driveshaft. The advantage of the two setups you posted earlier is they are 100% reversible.

Ok, makes sense. Ya I see a lot against it. I dont do crazy off-roading, light trails, hunting etc. Ive read mixed reviews on new UCAs being needed with DB lifts. Do I need a new arm if I go with the RC? either 4 or 6in

Not necessarily. Those types of lifts are designed to reuse factory suspension pieces. However aftermarket UCAs can’t hurt a thing.
