255/85/16's clear fine on stock suspension, as long as you keep the stock OR wheels.

As @SearArtist said, wheel offset makes a bigger difference than tire height.

Would like some black steel..ProComp seems to be lug centric though, would like to find some 8”,0 offset hub centric..but one step at a time..

Two completely different rides..OME I believe is now putting reservoirs on a new shock..
The two are completely opposite designs for off-road..
If I was thinking about nitro chargers,I may just save my $$ and get kings??

Your 5100’s are for larger bumps, slower speed..they are digressive..

The OME is progressive I believe.they will do better on smaller bumps, washboard roads like forest roads or dirt/gravel roads.

They may also handle differently on the highway..the progressive,I believe, will be floaty on the pavement and excel on the dirt..where the 5100 may be a little stiffer on the pavement..

Anyone can chime in if I spoke in error..

Get some ome nitro chargers or 5100s and then depending on if you are going to add armor or not select your spring rate. PM Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road and she can help walk you through it all. There are some really capable rigs that wheel harder than a lot of guys with Kings and the like just running a Bilstein or ome set up and it works well.

You don’t need a lift for that. Get better tires.

Tomorrow I'm getting 255/85/16 Cooper ST MAXX tires mounted on Ray 10 16x8. No lift installed. Been really unclear whether or not they will rub on an '18 Off Road stock. I have 5100's (front and rear) and OME 888 coils with full medium duty dakars ready to go but i cant install until next week.

Think it will be a problem to put 255/85/16 on 16x8 ray 10's on a stock '18 Off Road (temporary)?

You can run that size on stock wheels but I bet they rub with ray 10’s. Report back though.

Anyone with 5 wheel matching set looking to offload their spare steely? Want to get 4, only have my original. Have a 2011 Off-road package which came with 16” wheels. Doesn’t need a tire or valve stem.

Any recommendations of shops in the Charlotte area where I could have them look at my truck and go over different lift options in person? I know there are endless threads about this topic on the forum and a lot of competing views, so I thought it would be good to speak with a local shop about different options and then have them do the install eventually. I'm a novice in this area and just looking for a small lift of maybe 1-2 inches. I appreciate any insight that can be provided.

I would recommend you do your own research or at least get advice from someone who does not have an interest in how much you spend on something you don't know much about. There are many very knowledgeable guys on this thread who would be happy to make recommendations based on your budget/goals.

Shops are biased in that they make a profit off of selling to you. We are biased in that we have experience with said lifts but don't make a profit on what you buy..

Thanks, that's a great point about the bias a shop would have in directing me to spend more money. I guess I was thinking that a more focused in-person conversation on the topic would be helpful, but I see the issues as they will likely try to sell me more than I need.

I know lift questions annoy a lot of people on the forum and I've researched a lot of threads on this, but I'll go ahead and lay out what I'm looking for and would love to hear thoughts if anyone has them. I've got a '17 TRD Sport 4x4 that I recently put 265/70/17 tires on, so I added about 0.5 inch of height that way. The stance does look much better now in my opinion, but I'm thinking another 1-2 inches of height would look really good. I have to admit this is all about looks, since all my driving is suburban/city and the additional height is a want not a need. So basically what I'm looking for is a quality option that would raise the truck's height by 1-2 inches, that wouldn't have negative impacts on drive-ability or the truck's long-term health, and hopefully keeps as many components stock as possible.
