Not really my grill I bet has more open area than the stock grill. If you'd like I can calculate the open sq.in in my grill and then compare that to a stock grill. If voz' is an overlay on top of the stock grill it's restricting the grill opening more. His also has a lot of covered area relative to the open area.

I've seen a lot of the grills like voz has that are overlays on top the factory ones. I could be mistaken though voz's could have cut the center out. @Sandman614 should know he had it off installing the cooler

No it's slitted sheet metal that's all polished up. He's not wrong about that

no shame, i've been wrong before, will be again

the way i've felt the last couple months i'm sure i missed a lot of details i normally would not.

Hopefully this recent surgery has me closer to par soon. I truly feel better than i have in months, if not sore as hell for all the knife wounds !

I don't think it's as bad of an air block as you're making it out to be, otherwise the factory grill I have would be just as bad.
Either way I think it's plenty of airflow
I can't see chit with that glare

Ok yeah mine is really similar except black and recessed a lot more. @Sandman614 was right they are pretty much the same thing. For some reason I was thinking yours had thicker dividers and a big filled in area that said Toyota. Since that's the case I'd venture to guess the light bar has more to do with airflow issues than the grill.

Not the best pic but here's mine

and there is that fucking glare !

i guess the light bar is what made me think it was a layover

Those slits are a lot more restrictive than a mesh screen, even a screen has resistance ( watch your house windows when the wind blows)

The radiator itself is a huge restriction, but its one you want

You'd be surprised plus the factory grill the big center portion is rounded more to allow air to flow over better than a big brick. I agree the grill has plenty.of airflow through it.
