    Just preliminary eye ballin' my trip down to see y'all but I'm curious. My drive time is about 23hrs. from here in MB to Austin. Why are trip times within the State so long? Is it traffic or is this trip calculator out to lunch. Seems like the mileage is right but it's sadly been years since I've been in TX.

    Because Texas is huge as fuck. Also depending on the time of day you're passing through or around large cities will change your drive time with traffic.

    Won't be this year I don't think. Too busy with Contruction at work. Mentioned October & then Silence & the Stink Eye I got was so bad, y'all can likely smell it down there. Trucks not done yet either. Next year for sure, just don't know when.

    That's a solid plan. Driving at night or early morning saves a ton of time and also it's not blazing hot so you get a little break.

    Naw, used to do Calgary/Medicine Hat to LA Cali. Every shutdown or Spring Break Up. That stretch thru Utah with 50 Series tires on glare ice in a vette took a couple years off my life tho.
