Welcome. I lived in Oxnard from 1987 to 1994. Nice place. Some parts, anyway. I lived near the beach, and worked in Channel Islands Harbor.

 

Oh man, I haven't been down there since the Peace, Truth, and Conception were in that harbor (maybe they still are) and Ed worked for the Harbormaster's office.

Yeah I've been living in Oxnard for 20 years and mostly like everything about it. I only moved up to san jose for work.

 

OK, so I just put in an order for a new Leer cap. It is allegedly 6 weeks to deliver, but he thinks that with my options, it will be earlier.
Timing will be tricky with an upcoming camp trip to Sequoia NP in mid August. If the new cap is delivered in time, my existing 100XQ mag gray will be available for sale before I go pick up the new one. If not, I'll need to keep my existing cap until after that trip. Because life has to be complicated.

Bottom line:

My Leer 100XQ mag gray long bed will be up for sale, and I'm giving Norcal and early warning and opportunity before I do a FS thread or craigslist.









Thule tracks (factory installed) on top.

I'll throw in the wiring kits for auto lock and rear brake light that I never got around to installing.

Lol! I didn’t take it. My cousin sent it to me asking if I know the truck. I guess they think because I drive a tacoma I know who every modded tacoma driver is.

 

It’s got icons so probably not.

 

Sigh.

And since even the "new" redesigned 4x innovations HD shackles can not accomodate Dakars, I have a set of those up for grabs, too. NIB.

 

I’ve moved around a lot in the past 10 years for work. One day I’ll get back. NorCal got some pretty great stuff to see though. Plenty of places to check out

 

anybody been to Bald Mtn/Shaver lake area? east of fresno. wanting to plan another trip up there at some point in the next like 2 months. Ive done the trails up to the Bald Mtn tower from the tamarac side and the Dinkey Creek side. hoping to hit coyote soon (need to put my sliders on first), and finish Brewer trail. went most of the way but ended up taking another trail that branched off

 

I’ve done the Dusy but that’s about it. Beautiful area.

 

Nice! 100R? I just ordered my dream cap, 100RCC with sliding windoors both sides, and, get this, in matching paint!

 

Not sure exact model. Haven’t looked into it much. I’m gonna go and dig into it here soon

 

You should be able to find a plate near the rear driver side with a serial #. If you call a Leer dealer and give them that, they should be able to provide details.

 

Yeah just found it lol. For 400 bucks I just told him to throw it on the truck and I’ll figure that out later. Been looking for the past couple months and could find any used under 800-1000 then this popped up

 

Landing at midnight was probably not my best decision.
