Don’t tell me about practicality, I want results. I’ll tell him happy birthday as the division of the millisecond of his birth approaches infinity

I had a TJ before my Tacoma. I like both for different reasons, but if I could only have 1......Tacoma without question. The tow rating and room sucked on the TJ. I drove it for 9yrs and wouldn't mind having one as a toy, but never as a DD again.

My Tacoma was a far better vehicle drive wise and will miss it. I do not tow and I am 90% by myself, I drive about 5 miles to work so it doesn’t wear me out to bad lol. So this is basically my toy, till I can exceed in my current career. Both the 4.0 are bullet proof and will last forever.

I won't bash the TJ. I loved mine. It had 215K on the 4.0 until someone rear ended me at a red light. My Jeep has been in the shop for a few weeks. If it doesn't get totaled, I may just keep it as a toy. I have no complaints with the TJ, I just wanted a vehicle that had a bit more room and better towing.

My family has owned several jeeps and the 4.0 has never let us down. Obviously everyone is different but they are very reliable.

I wanted a ‘97-06’ 4.0 I hate my hate the angle of the newer grilles.

I ended up with a 2004 with only 98,032 miles.
