We get it you don't like Nitori...
It's his truck let him do what he wants. If you don't like it ignore him.

I don’t think you get it, I think everyone else does around here including @Nitori , I don’t dislike him as you state, I’m just busting his balls because he’s bat shit crazy with what he does. He posts here in a bs thread to talk about it and draw interest, my interest is to bust his balls or give feedback which I have in a positive way when there is something to be positive about, if not I do ignore his journal entries, unless it’s so redic that it’s begging for a comment.

If this was his build thread then yah I’d be in the wrong, but it’s not.

First off, thank you guys for taking the time to respond. I really appreciate all of your insight and experience on this. I think the best way to start is to say that I am not looking to absolutely destroy this truck, but I also don't want to come across anything I can't make a legitimate attempt to get past. I have had Jeeps and other trucks on the past, and I have put them all through the paces. I don't think I would shy away from rocks, but again, I am not looking to destroy this truck. It is kind of nice, and I like it. I would definitely be taking the truck into the mountains and into the forest for hunting and camping trips. I am also looking at a couple of fairly long trips coming up, which will likely take me out of the country. So I will need something that is not only capable off road, but on the road as well.

For the wheels, I am not worried about beating them up too much. I am aware of the risks involved and if anything is going to get beat up, I guess I understand most if it is the wheels. I like the idea of the 17s if that is what the consensus is. I guess the next step is to find a set. I am trying to prep the truck to take off for a while once business gets sorted out in the next couple of months, so I have a little time.

    Thanks again guys.

And if you have any wheels suggestions, I am open to anything you guys might suggest.

My truck hasn't been able to engage 4WD since day 1...:notsure:

To be fair you do toe the line on some sort of strange hate-crush on me sometimes. ;) It's okay though, you don't have to hide your feelings.:D

Shit dude sorry to hear that. Anyways I do appreciate you being "in my corner" so to speak but if I didn't get what I felt was (sometimes) valuable feedback I wouldn't post my shit in here. I totally understand I'm the kinda guy who overdesigns and needs a little :smack: to simplify here and there.

Like the rally rack. I'll be the only guy with one, and yeah the expedient solution would be to throw a 30" in a hidden mount, but I'm chasing a particular look.
At the same time, I don't want to yield functionality by chasing said look so I am doing my best to mount it up in a non-jiggly, rock solid kinda setup. If that means I gotta go custom designed for some of it, so be it.
After all, isn't that what makes a build interesting?

Yes and that's the bar I bought too, just with the mount tabs for multiple LED's instead of 4 large halogens.
