Might be your actuator, that's what caused mine to do this.

Yes, because it's not so much the depth itself as the offset of the bracket:

Trace an imaginary vertical line from the mount bolt straight upwards and notice how basically none of the light sits behind the mount. That's my fight with the LED options is they have deeper "backspacing."

Theoretically I could mount up 10 Baja squadrons on it. It would end up looking something like this:

Those are XL's though. I might be able to mount 2 of those in the center and then put 2 squadrons on either side for a total of 6.

Or the fact that he failed to buy one with an actuator.

I guess I'm having a bit of a hard time conceptualizing why fitment is an issue. Not sure how close the N-Fab light bar sits but the Squadrons maybe extend like an 1"-1.5" behind the bracket which doesn't seem like much at all. If it is too much it would seem like the light bar is highly specialized and is suited to only particular types or profiles of light which is going to severely limit your light choices......

    Pick a different light bar???

Technically you have your mounts on backwards which is one of the tricks I am potentially going to use. It's because the lip of the main grille pushes forward- look at the front of a 3rd gen and you'll see that the most recessed area on the front is that small lower grille slot where this bar comes out.

To be fair it was getting dark fast and I was running out of time to work, so I may have had like an extra inch of leeway forwards that I didn't realize cause one bolt or another was binding up. Who knows, maybe with daylight on my side it will be a non-issue.

I had to flip the mounts around to let me get an hex key on top of a cap head bolt.

You might be able to do that with KC lights - see if this bracket would flip around - it would get you pretty flush by the looks of it.

The Rigid D lights also look like the mount is further back than Baja's.

You don’t even have to do that, hit up nearly any bar at a casino and will find drunken out of towners that are pretty much down for whatever and just looking to enjoy there vacation,
