Ah, stuff like that ain't bad. For me, the engine is the heart of the vehicle, put a 2JZ in a BMW & it's not a BMW anymore.

I know some will say, what about some Supercars that have BMW, Mercedes, Ferrari engines, well they came stock that way. Haha, Lotus Elise with a Corolla engine....

 

I'm sure they still do. Just never had a reason to look into it.

After my first car with a sunroof, I don't really care for them much. Just so happened this truck had one when I got it. Sucks about your buddies sunroof though...haha!

The 3.leaker in the BMW isn't it's weak point really, it literally everything else

If I was going to do a V8 swap I rather do the 5.7 and supercharge the beast. Might have to cage the engine bay but that's worth it. The 4.7 didn't make the power I was hoping and the crank is fragile

 

Eveyone I've been in has been a pretty big steaming pile of shit. They don't age well at all and even new they're troublesome, you'd expect better from a product of South Carolina

I admit, some of them look nice, are fast, & sound crazy when they shift but they're just another one of those cars that you have to buy new, then sell when the factory warranty expires. Typical German/European car.
